RFQ Brief Template

A shorter first message can still be quotation-ready.

Many B2B buyers do not have a finished specification file at the first contact. This brief gives Chongteng the buyer context needed to reply with a focused product shortlist, then move serious projects into full RFQ, catalog review, OEM packaging, and OKKI follow-up.

Minimum Brief

Send these seven fields first.

Market

Country, region, or target sales market.

Sales channel

Wholesale, modern trade, gas station, online store, dealership, corporate campaign, or service channel.

Product direction

Category, reference product, use case, or the problem the product should solve.

Quantity range

Trial order, monthly demand, project quantity, store count, campaign quantity, or expected reorder logic.

Packaging need

Standard wholesale pack, retail box, private label, logo, manual language, barcode, gift box, or display-ready packaging.

Timeline and contact

Target sample time, order time, delivery window, and the best contact method for follow-up.

Template

A buyer can submit this structure directly.

Short version

We sell in [market] through [channel]. We need [product direction] for [buyer type]. First quantity may be [range]. Packaging should be [standard or OEM]. Please recommend 2-3 practical directions before full quotation.

For retail chains

Store type, shelf space, price band, packaging level, barcode/manual needs, seasonal plan, and private label preference are more useful than a long public SKU list.

For car wash or detailing

Use case, towel or tool type, service or resale channel, rough quantity, pack level, and whether GSM/size/color are already fixed.

What Chongteng Can Do Next

Turn the brief into a shortlist, not extra confusion.

  • Check whether the request fits Chongteng's automotive electronics, car care, interior, gift, OEM, or project supply scope.
  • Recommend 2-3 product or package directions before asking for every technical detail.
  • Identify which information is still required before a real quote, sample, certificate review, or mass production plan.
  • Route qualified buyers into protected catalog, pricing, certificate, private mold, artwork, and regional policy discussion only after review.
Fast Starts

Use a prefilled path when the project type is clear.
